Immunology is one of the leading areas in biomedical science worldwide accounting for nearly a quarter of all Nobel prizes in Medicine and a substantial proportion of new drugs. Immunology is currently one of Singapore’s fastest growing areas of research. The Singaporean Society for Immunology (SSI) was founded in 2007. The principle objectives of SSI are: to advance the science of Immunology in Singapore; to promote co-operation in Immunology amongst the various Universities, Research Institutes and Hospitals in Singapore; and to serve as a local contact point for other International learned societies. All interested parties are invited to join our society and attend our annual international conference.
